My band, Stephie Coplan & the Pedestrians, achieved modest success with our single, "JERK!" We charted at #15 on rock radio, which allowed me to quit my day job and tour the country for two years with Cake, Grouplove, Two Door Cinema Club, and more.

Eventually, I signed a management deal and started writing behind the scenes with pop stars like Rachel Platten ("Fight Song") and Lauv ("I Like Me Better.")
