We had three goals to increase our follower count and engagement on WhatsApp's Instagram account:
1) introduce a unified social persona
2) create partnerships with key creators and brands
3) make social the place to learn and engage
To tap into culture, we cultivated partnerships that could highlight WhatsApp's relevance in ways that were creative, entertaining, and relatable.
Thousands of delivered assets allowed WhatsApp's Instagram following to grow to over 4 million, doubling the 2 million followers they had when our work began. The channel has become a gold standard within Meta for how to do social right.
