The adoption rate of senior shelter dogs is less than half of the adoption rate of puppies.
Pet Life Unlimited, a brand that makes grooming products, wanted to do something about that. So we decided to "glow up" a group of senior shelter dogs to increase their chances of adoption.
But we knew that it would take more than a shit, shower, and shave to get the public to fall in love. So we collaborated with 70-year-old supermodel Christie Brinkley—who is proof that age really is just a number—to recreate her most iconic magazine covers and generate some buzz.
HOW IT WORKED
First, we did the makeovers and photo shoots.
Then, we officially unveiled them at an event attended by celebrities and influencers like Joe Gatto and Nicky Hilton.
